John Masaki is currently the resident DJ and music director of Electric Cube and Horizon Events UK, a British-Asian entertainment groups based in Edinburgh, Scotland. He established his music production as a free art, elegantly throwing together unexpected elements with his personal twist. His vision of dance music is continuously evolving and inspiring from a broad spectrum of modern dance music to a passionate focus on tech house, melodic house, progessive to moombahton and trap. This should credited to his exchange experience at Amsterdam between 2015-2019. His events and DJ style are highly versatile and are known for their infectious, energetic vibe. With “creating distinctive memories for everyone” as his core approach towards music, he aims to unite people with his kinetic tunes.

Today, John is a mainstage artist with at least a decade of experience in the dance music industry. Known for his open format style and remixes, John has played at some of the major festivals globally, including We.Are.Electric at Netherland and ULTRA Music Festival Europe at Croatia. All these experience has allowed him to perform along with many superstars and top100 artists in the world. In addition to his work as a DJ, John is also a talent agent, and have collabrated with artists from Asia by releasing numerous successful bottlegs and remixes. John Masaki aims to push the boundaries and experimenting with new sounds to keep his live sets fresh and exciting for audiences.
